PRINCIPLE

The alarm is designed for monitoring hydrocarbon liquid separators.

With sensor, the alarm device detects when the maximum thickness is reached.

The system status is displayed on the front panel with 3 LEDs. It has a built-in buzzer. A jumper can deactivate its function; in this configuration, the lighting alarm and relay output inform the operator of the current status of the ALARM. The alarm device has a self-diagnosis of the measuring loop and the integrity of the device. In the event of a malfunction, an alarm signal is generated.

There are three markings on the sensor for easy mounting, depending on the thickest layer of oil.

 

The alarm indicates the status of the system with 3 LEDs:

  • Yellow LED -> Alarm activated and not acknowledged
  • Green LED -> Operation OK
  • Red LED -> Alarm in progress
