UNDERGROUND SEPTIC TANK
Thanks to their egg-shape, these septic tanks need less depth to be installed than other thanks with a similar volume.
Double use:
Can be used both as a rainwater tank or as a septic tank
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
A. WITHOUT TRAFFIC LOAD
Dig out a hole wide enough for the tank to be lowered without knocking it on the sides and add a layer of stabilised sand at the bottom. If there is a lot of groundwater, it is recommended to use a concrete slab of about 15 cm thick under your septic/rainwater tank. Then lower the septic/rainwater tank and connect the piping. Fill the tank to the top. Fill in the hole around the tank with stabilised sand to about 5 cm above the top of the tank.
The recommended amount of stabilised sand for normal installation depth of about 50 cm under ground level:
B. WITH TRAFFIC LOAD
Follow the instructions under A and cast a 15 cm reinforced concrete collar on top of the stabilised sand. Afterwards, the manhole can be finished with bricks if needed or using the manhole cast delivered with the tank. Then the cover can be placed on top.
Our septic/rainwater tanks are subject to a guarantee for all production faults if the installation guidelines were strictly followed.
